This is a 1 1/2 story Cape ca 1939. According to the National Register application package, it was built for Alonzo Vail who operated the Lyric Theatre on the corner of Miller and Main Streets.
The windows are modern replacements.
The siding is modern vinyl.
The chimney is good original.
The house sits on what were lots 15 and 16 of the Lyndon Plat and the site of the Waterman mansion, also known as the Maxwell-Waterman House, now demolished.
