40 Broad Street

40 Broad

This is a 1 1/2 story Cape built by Napoleon and Angeline Servant ca 1947.
It is not generally considered an historic house by Warren standards but all its elements are appropriate to its age and it’s certainly deserving of preservation.

January 11, 1947.   Peter and Marie Giustiany sell to Napoleon and Angeline Servant a lot on the south side of Broad St. bordering the land of Alonzo Vail which included what is now 46 Broad St until 1950.   Deedbook 67, Page 607.  A tax stamp of $2.20 was recorded.

Note: the original lot was 65′ on Broad St. and 139′ South towards Wheaton St. Approximately 60′ of the Southern portion was transferred to lot 5-54 when the house at 41 Wheaton was built.
